Bangladesh is a country in South Asia. A country of beautiful landscapes. It shares land borders with India and Myanmar. Bangladesh is the world's eighth most populous country. Dhaka is The capital of Bangladesh and largest city, Chittagong is the country's largest port city.
Liberation War of Bangladesh
The modern Bangladesh were divided into two parts in August 1947. One named India and another Pakistan. Pakistan had two parts, one was the West Pakistan and another was East Pakistan. Our Dhaka was the capital of the East Pakistan. Government of Pakistan and military ware dominated by the upper classes from the West. The first sign of friction between two wings of Pakistan was The Bengali Language movement of 1952. Dissatisfaction with the central government of Pakistan over economic and cultural issues continued to rise through the next decade.
In the year of 1971, a bloody war took place and after nine months of liberation war Pakistani army formally surrendered and Bangladesh become an independent country on 16 December in 1971.
